Jacqueline A. McGeary

WORCESTER – Jacqueline A. McGeary, 81, of Lake Avenue, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester.

She is survived by two children, Deborah Wentworth of North Franklin, CT, and Joseph Dronzek of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cindy Dronzek who died in 2024; two sisters, Claudia and Loretta; and her former husband, John Dronzek.

She was born in Webster, daughter of the late John and Angeline (Blanchette) McGeary, and lived in Worcester for many years.

Ms. McGeary was a housekeeper for several area families. Previously, she worked at various area mills. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Greenville Baptist Church, 674 Pleasant Street, Rochdale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greenville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 396, Rochdale, MA 01542.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
