Janet Plasse

DUDLEY – Janet (Stanley) Plasse, 59, of Central Avenue, died Monday, January 31, 2022, at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness.  She is survived by her husband, Kevin B. Michael Sr. of Dudley; three children, Crystal M. Plasse and her husband Brian Kaczmarek of Albion, ME, Nichole M. Brown and her husband Hezron of Webster, and Kevin B. Michael Jr. of Dudley; a brother, John “Jack” Stanley of Dudley; five grandchildren, Ariana M. Grant of Brooks, ME, Gabriel R. Kaczmarek of Albion, ME, Aubrie Taylor of Plainfield, CT, Rosalie Brown of Webster, and Sky-Jennah Taylor of Plainfield, CT; several nephews and nieces; and her first great-grandchild on the way.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Beth L. Taylor who died in 2021; and a brother, Scott S. Stanley who died in 2008.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John “Jack” and Rose M. (White) Stanley Sr., and lived most of her life in Dudley.

Janet worked as a personal care assistant for most of her life. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino with her husband.  Janet spent her life taking care of others.  She cared greatly for her family and loved her grandchildren more than anything.  When you needed anything, she was always the first person to be there to offer help.  She called family members each day to see how they were and if there was anything she could do to help.  Her family will remember the warm hugs each time you entered or left her home, and her full refrigerator to feed anyone who stopped by.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  Calling hours are Monday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Worcester.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Janet Plasse Memorial Fund, c/o bankHometown, 4 Gore Road, Webster, MA 01570.
