Janet Robinson-O'Leary

WORCESTER - Janet J. (Whaland) Robinson-O'Leary, 57, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, in her home. She is survived by her daughter, Heidi E. Bain and her husband James of East Brookfield; her granddaughter, Emma J. Bain of East Brookfield; a brother, Michael Whaland of Athol; a sister, Susan Whaland of Florida; many cousins including Val and Joanne; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend, James J. O'Leary; and a brother, Richard Whaland. She was born in Athol, the daughter of the late Richard and Joyce (Hadlock) Whaland, and lived most of her life in Worcester. Mrs. Robinson-O'Leary was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Oxford, and loved gardening. A memorial calling hour will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A funeral service will follow on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 270 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be held at a later date at North Cemetery in Oxford.
