FARMINGTON, CT – Janice A. (Graham) Kettle, 84, died Saturday, November 2, 2019, at her daughter’s home in Salado, Texas. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Frank G. Kettle who died in 2010. She is survived by two children, Gary L. Kettle and his wife Marcia of North Grosvenordale, CT, and Louise A. Whitaker and her husband Lonnie of Salado, TX; two brothers, George Graham of Clinton and Robert Graham of Lebanon, PA; four grandchildren, Jaimee Taborda, Tammie Smith, Shaun Whitaker, and Jeremy Whitaker; nine great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn Graham; and two brothers, Donald Graham and William Graham. She was born in Lancaster, MA, daughter of the late James W. and Harriet D. (Tuttle) Graham, and lived in Farmington for many years and North Grosvenordale for several years, before moving to Texas five years ago.
Mrs. Kettle worked at Progressive Specialty Glass of Southington for 7 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Farmington. She enjoyed duckpin bowling, camping with her husband, riding her motorcycle, and spending time at the ocean.
A graveside service will be held at Eastwood Cemetery in Lancaster, MA, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
