Jayden Muturi

CHARLTON – Jayden Peter Muturi, 19, of Burlingame Road, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.  He is survived by his parents, Troy J. Kasper and Grace E. Muturi-Kasper of Charlton; his brother, Jayce Michael Muturi of Charlton; his aunt and uncle, Rachel and Michael Muturi of Nairobi, Kenya; six cousins, Saru, Muturi, Mwabili, Christian, Natalie, and Michelle; his best friend, Wayne Maingi of Florida; and many loving family members and friends.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Peter and Margaret Muturi.  He was born and raised in Leominster before moving to Charlton three years ago.  He graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley in 2022, and was enrolled at Worcester State University.

Jayden worked at the Overlook in Charlton and most recently Sky Nutro in Southbridge.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, cruises, and playing video games.  He had a passion for technology, loved gadgets, and was self-taught in electronics.  He enjoyed cars and was a self-proclaimed foodie.  His warm smile and great sense of humor will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  Burial will follow at West Ridge Cemetery in Charlton.  Calling hours are Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
