NORTH GROSVENORDALE, CT – Jean-Paul Hache, 52, of Reardon Road, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He is survived by his parents, Jean-Guy and Patricia D. (Germain) Hache of North Grosvenordale; his fiancée, Lisa M. Kemp of North Grosvenordale; Lisa’s children, Krista M. Kemp of Dudley and Tyler J.M. Kemp, serving overseas in the Air Force; Jean-Paul’s grandchildren, Alyssa and Ayla Bonneville, both of Dudley; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was born in Southbridge and lived most of his life in North Grosvenordale. He graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in Thompson in 1989.
Mr. Hache was an elevator mechanic for the Elevator Union 41, where he worked for 22 years. He enjoyed tinkering, fixing things, and restoring classic Volkswagens. In recent years, he loved mowing the lawn in the summer and snowplowing in the winter. He enjoyed snorkeling and looked forward to traveling to the cottage in New Brunswick, Canada, in the summertime.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
