Jean K. Thompson

HUDSON – Jean K. Thompson, 71, of the Machado House at Peter's Grove, died Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Marlborough Hospital.  She is survived by her brother, Joel C. Thompson of Bethel, CT; two aunts and many cousins.  She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Alfred C. and Corliss A. (Whitney) Thompson, and lived in Hudson since 1988.  She graduated from Westborough High School in 1970.

Miss Thompson was employed by several companies throughout her life, including Bose in Framingham and Thom McAn.  In addition, she delivered newspapers for the Metrowest Daily News.  She enjoyed reading and going to church.  She will be remembered as a very friendly person who had a wonderful network of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford.  A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 12 noon at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Federated Church, 200 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
