OXFORD - Jessie M. (Brake) Laflamme, 99, formerly of Quobaug Avenue, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at St. Mary Health Care Center in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Wilfred H. Laflamme of Oxford, who died in 1987; and her daughter, Nancy M. King of Oxford, who died in 2014. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Denham and her husband Donald of Webster; two granddaughters, Nicole King of Millbury and Nancy Yacino of FL; a grandson, Michael King of Pittsfield; a son-in-law, Michael King of Oxford; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. She was born in Belmont, NH, the daughter of the late Frank and Delphine (Charest) Brake, and lived in Belmont for 26 years before moving to Oxford in 1941. Mrs. Laflamme worked at American Optical in Southbridge, retiring many years ago. Previously, she worked at M.K.M. in Rochdale. She was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford and the Daughters of Isabella. Calling hours are Sunday, November 30, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Friends and family are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church. Burial will be private at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Laconia, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
