Joan Dagnese

OXFORD - Joan M. (Guillotte) Dagnese, 72, of Paige Lane, died Friday, November 29, 2013, in her home, after a battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Vincent A. Dagnese of Oxford; four children, Richard S. Dagnese and his wife Cheryl of Worcester, Lori A. LaPan and her husband Kenneth of Oxford, Linda A. Remillard and her husband Walter of Oxford, with whom she lived, and David J. Dagnese and his wife Danielle of Webster; two brothers, Leo Guillotte of California and Dona Guillotte of Worcester; three sisters, Gloria Kelley of Worcester, Eileen LaPrade of Worcester, and Lillian Johnson of Spencer; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by four brothers and sisters. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Agnes (Supernant) Guillotte, and lived most of her life in Oxford. Mrs. Dagnese was a C.N.A. at Sandalwood Nursing Home in Oxford for several years. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to Foxwoods, her craft groups, and most of all, loved to spend time with her family. Calling hours are Monday, December 2, 2013, from 4-7 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dream Foundation at dreamfoundation.org.
