AUBURN – Joan D. (Dube) Morse, 84, of Rochdale Street, died Thursday, May 6, 2021, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester.  She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Raymond F. Morse who died in 2002.  She is survived by three children, James R. Morse and his wife Carol of Paris, TN, Cheryl A. Fiorentino of Ocala, FL, and Lawrence R. Morse and his wife Andrea of Auburn; a sister, Dorothy Champagne and her husband Dennis of Auburn; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by four brothers, Gerald, Paul, Larry, and Daniel Dube; and a sister, Leona LaLiberte.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Raymond and Josephine (Stearns) Dube, and lived in Florida for several years before moving to Auburn 4 years ago.  She attended Auburn Public Schools in Auburn.

Mrs. Morse worked at Guaranty Bank in Worcester for 22 years, first as customer service representative, loan officer, and finally assistant manager, before retiring in 1992.  She was a member of the Auburn Elks and enjoyed cruises and traveling with her husband.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021, at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St., Oxford.  Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church.  Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA 01602.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
