OXFORD – John A. Donnelly Jr., 68, of Pine Street, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Leominster Hospital after a long illness.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Robin M. (Raymond) Donnelly of Oxford; three sons, Shawn M. Donnelly and his wife Lindsey of Oxford, Andrew J. Donnelly and his wife Amanda of Dudley, and Patrick N. Donnelly and his fiancée Caitlyn of Oxford; his mother, Theresa M. (LaMountain) Donnelly of North Oxford; two brothers, Kenneth B. Donnelly of Webster, and James D. Donnelly and his wife Brenda of Oxford; seven grandchildren, Nathan Donnelly, Kendall Donnelly, Skylar Johnson-Mello, Drew Donnelly, Lainey Donnelly, Ashton Wales-Donnelly, and Ava Donnelly; and many nieces and nephews. He also loved his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late John A. Donnelly Sr., and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1976.
Mr. Donnelly worked for R.H. White in Auburn for 10 years, retiring in 2018. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4241 in Oxford, and enjoyed NASCAR and listening to country music. He was always the life of a party, until it was time to go home, and he left by doing the Irish goodbye.
