John Loconto

SPENCER / OXFORD – John P. Loconto, 53, of Main Street, North Oxford, and formerly of Spencer, died Saturday, December 8, 2007, at Autumn Village in Worcester, after a battle with cancer. He is survived by two sisters, Gloria A. Lehner and her husband Michael of North Oxford, with whom he lived, and Andrea M. Loconto of Oxford; a niece, Darcie L. Lehner of North Oxford; a nephew, Michael M. Lehner of North Oxford; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Andrew T. and Evelyn M. (Beauregard) Loconto, and lived in Spencer for the past 15 years before moving back to Oxford recently. He attended Oxford High School in Oxford. John operated Andy's Garage in Rochdale for 35 years. He was a car enthusiast, loved riding his motorcycle, and enjoyed going to car shows. A funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 11, 2007, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
