SUTTON / DOUGLAS – Jonathan J. Maynard, 28, of Providence Road, died unexpectedly due to an accident at work on Monday, May 10, 2021.  He is survived by his wife of 1 year, Amanda B. Davis of Sutton; his father, Joseph J. Maynard and his wife Susan of Oxford; his mother, Tamara M. Maynard of Douglas; three brothers, Joseph J. Maynard III and his girlfriend Tricia Leary of Grafton, Paul M. Maynard and his wife Heather of Millville, and Robert C. Mayard and his fiancée Emily Crozier of Blackstone; two sisters, Amy L. Jolly and her husband Scott of Sutton, and Sherry L. Maynard and her husband Mike Schuler of Sutton; his maternal grandmother, Rose T. Garabedian of Grafton; a step sister, Christie M. Gaucher and her husband Jason of Burrillville, RI; a step brother, Kevin R. Anderson and his girlfriend Catherine Class of Webster; his father- and mother-in-law, Arthur D. and Sandra M. Davis of Oxford; his uncle, Vaughn P. Garabedian of Grafton; his brother-in-law, Daniel Davis of Oxford; nephews and nieces, Tia and her fiancé Kevin, Maxwell, Jake, Maddison, Ryan, Brianna, Camden, and Logan; two step nieces, Kayla M. Jolly and Danielle E. Jolly; and many friends.  He was born in Milford and lived most of his life in Douglas before moving to Sutton earlier this year.  He graduated from Douglas High School in 2012.

Mr. Maynard was a truck driver and delivered glass for HMI Glass in Whitinsville.  He loved kayaking, sports, and was a self-proclaimed cheese fanatic and Michael Jackson fan.  He had a colorful personality and had colored glasses to match every outfit.  He had a smile that would brighten a room, loved Christmas lights, and was known to his friends as J-Bone.  He will be remembered as a wonderful man who always put his family first.

Memorial calling hours are Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  A prayer service will be held Saturday  at 2:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.  A gathering will be held at the 200 Sportsmen Club in Webster at 3:00 p.m. following the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
