Joyce L. Buell

CHARLTON- Joyce L. Buell, 81, died Monday, February 23, 2026, at Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton.

She is survived by cousins, Anne Harrington and Karen Farris, both of Maine, Bill Young and Martha Simerl, both of Tennessee, John Buell of Worcester, and Nancy Imbody of Worcester; and a close friend, Sandra Warfield of Oxford.

She was predeceased by her sister, Jean S. Buell, who died in 2025.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late James and Arlene (Paddock) Buell, and lived in Worcester for most of her life before moving to Oxford and Charlton.

Ms. Buell was an instructional assistant at Worcester Public Schools for many years.

A private graveside service will be held at Rural Cemetery, 180 Grove Street, Worcester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Hill Bible Church, Scholarship Fund, 40 Sacarrappa Rd., Oxford, MA, 01540.

Paradis-Givner Funeral home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
