CHARLTON – June M. (Moore) Monopoli, 88, of Gale Road, died Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Nicholas L. Monopoli of Charlton; three children, Nicholas L. Monopoli Jr. and his wife Joy of Leicester, Cathy A. Bartlett and her husband Michael of Woodstock, CT, and Michael D. Monopoli of Charlton; four grandchildren, Benjamin Monopoli and his husband Chris Connor of Boston, Jacob Monopoli of Leicester, Matthew Bartlett and his wife Julie of Connecticut, and Susan Bartlett of Thompson, CT; and a great-grandson, Emmett Bartlett of Connecticut. She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly “Becky” Trotto. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Helen (Hamrin) Moore, and lived in Worcester before moving to Charlton in 1968.
June graduated from the David Hale School of Nursing and worked as a nursing supervisor for many years before retiring in 2004.
Calling hours are Monday, April 18, 2022, from 3-6 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thornfield Hall (Recreation Fund), 330 Thompson Hill Rd., Thompson, CT 06277, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
