Kathleen A. Henry

SUTTON – Kathleen A. (Sullivan) Henry, 56, of Sutton, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in her home.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Peter F. Henry of Sutton; two children, Emma K. Henry and Jack P. Henry, both of Sutton; a brother, John Sullivan and his wife Susi of Scituate; and two sisters, Deidre Menchaca and her husband Frank of Pittsburgh, PA, and Maura Sullivan and her husband Steve Cagnetta of Winchester.

She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Philip and Valerie (Wood) Sullivan, and lived in Sutton for the past 21 years. She graduated from Milton Academy in Milton in 1987, and received her bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith College in New York in 1991.

Kate was a Program Coordinator for Open Sky in Whitinsville for 2 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, attempting to garden (albeit always unsuccessfully), and regularly attending Boston College Football games and participating in the world’s best tailgate. Kate also loved the beach and spent many hours in her beloved Weekapaug (and later, at her adopted Jersey Shore). Kate was a great listener, always having a free ear and open arms. She made friends everywhere she went; she leaves behind many friends at all of her favorite local establishments. One of Kate’s favorite past-times was playing trivia, which she won regularly. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Brigid’s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
