Kathleen White

WHITINSVILLE – Kathleen Ann (Hashey) White, 69, of North Main Street, died Friday, July 15, 2022, in her home.  She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronald White of Whitinsville; her mother, Pauline (Jacques) Hashey of Uxbridge; five children, Betsy Gosselin of Whitinsville, Steven Gosselin and his wife Susan of Northbridge, Kristina Westbury and her husband David of Sutton, Sheryl Bliss and her husband Burt of Whitinsville, and Jeffrey White and his wife Colleen of Douglas; her twin sister, Catherine Bernier and her husband Gerard of Worcester; her brother, Edward Hashey and his wife Mary Ellen of Oxford; eighteen grandchildren, Brett, Craig, Trevor, Kristin, Rebecca, David, Katelynn, Ethan, Emily, Casey, Jacob L., Brian, Tyler, Abigayle, Julia, Andrew, Kyle, and Lyla; eight great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by a grandson, Jacob D.  She was born in Whitinsville, daughter of the late Frederick H. Hashey Jr., was raised in Uxbridge and lived most of her life in Whitinsville.  She attended Good Shepherd School in Linwood and attended Uxbridge High School.

Mrs. White worked as a bus monitor for the Durham Bus Company for the past 12 years.  Previously, she was a payroll supervisor at H&R Block in Brockton for 18 years and worked in home health care for the V.N.A. for 12 years.  She attended St. Patrick’s Church in Whitinsville.  She enjoyed shopping, kayaking, and riding her motorcycle.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from Buma Funeral Home, 480 Church St., Whitinsville, followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville.  Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Northbridge.  Calling hours are Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
