Kathryn Lane

NORTH OXFORD – Kathryn M. Lane, 101, formerly of Prospect Street, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Beaumont Nursing Home in Westborough.  She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Thomas and Hope Lasseter, Shirley Lasseter, Lori Lazarus, Nancy Lasseter and Ewen Thompson, Judy and George Murphy, Sheila and Steve Barry, Kathleen and Rick Bergan, Mary Lane, and William Lane.  She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Lasseter, her brothers, Thomas Lane, William Lane, and Francis Lane; her niece, Mary Schaibly; and her nephews, Paul, Michael and Timothy Lane.  She was lovingly cared for by her dear friend, Pamela Bubon.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Gallagher) Lane, and lived in North Oxford since 1929.  She graduated from Oxford High School in 1938.

Mrs. Lane was a draftsman at Crompton & Knowles for 32 years prior to retirement.  She was a member of St. Ann’s Church in North Oxford.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at St. Ann’s Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford.  Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford.  A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass.
