BROOKFIELD – Keith J. Gallant, 55, of Joe Goddard Road, died Monday, May 8, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Elizabeth J. (Bergeron) Gallant of Brookfield; his mother, Nancy P. Gallant of Fiskdale; his stepson, Richard S. MacDonald of Brookfield; his sister, Deborah Leite and her husband Anthony of Leicester; two brothers, William Gallant of Maine, and Mark Gallant and his wife Bonnie of Holland; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Kert J. Gallant who died in 2017. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Al J. Gallant, and lived in Brookfield since 2002.
Mr. Gallant was a heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 4 in Worcester for over 30 years. He loved working on his home, where he built a barn and a chicken coop. He enjoyed R/C cars, archery, paintball, cooking, and was known for his big holiday dinners. He was greatly loved by his family and will be sadly missed.
