OXFORD – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Michael Earley, 71, who left us suddenly on July 12, 2025. A man whose personality was as vibrant as his smile, Kevin brought joy and laughter to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was a true lover of sports and die-hard Duke men’s basketball fan, but nothing brought him more pride than watching his kids and grandkids play. When he wasn’t yelling from the stands or at the T.V., he cherished the simple joy of relaxing in the sun with a good book in his hands.
He never heard a song he couldn’t dance to, whether showing his signature moves or swaying to the music with his beloved wife in his arms, he made every moment a celebration and every room a little brighter. Above all, he cherished time with his family, holding a special place in his heart for his six grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness. He had a love of music and enjoyed attending concerts with his kids.
His legacy lives on in the memories shared, the love he gave, and the joy he brought to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Kevin was a parts manager throughout his life, most recently working for Ira Smith Truck Repair before retirement.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late Kenneth F. and Shirley F. (Sandy) Earley, and lived most of his life in Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School.
Kevin is survived by his wife, who he spent the last 37 years with, Elaine F. (Dube) Earley of Oxford; five children, Benjamin J. Earley of Charlton, Shalyn M. O’Neill and her husband Michael of Charlton, Jason C. Polinski of Oxford, Jess E. Polinski of Oxford, and Jeffrey R. Polinski and his significant other Tiffany of Oregon; two brothers, Terrance J. Earley and Barry P. Earley; two sisters, Lynn M. Morin and Kathleen J. Butler; six grandchildren, Morgan, Dylan, Brayden, Jaxon, Colin, and Milo; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Jacqueline A. Earley, Barbara A. Sherwood, and Donna F. Thomas.
