DUDLEY – Kristin L. (Weaver) Prochnow, 39, of Third Avenue, died peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in her home after an illness.

She is survived by two daughters, Makayla D. Prochnow and her fiancée Laura Featherstone of Oxford; and Kiley M. Prochnow of Oxford; her father, Dutch Weaver of Dudley; two sisters, Lauren Brien and her husband Shane of Worcester, and Stefanie S. Maldonado Weaver and her husband Estuardo Maldonado of Worcester; her Godmother, Susan A. Reardon of Oxford; five nieces and nephews, Aleciyah, Natalia, Isabella, River, and Lincoln; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Tammie A. (DiBonaventura) Weaver, and was raised in Oxford before settling in Dudley eight years ago. She graduated from James Madison High School in 2004.

Kristin worked at Aubuchon Hardware in Webster for several years. She loved arts and crafts, making fairy gardens, listening to music, and watching her favorite shows on TV. She will be fondly remembered as a crazy cat lady, and will be greatly missed by her cats.

A celebration of life will be held at a date and location to be determined, and will be announced in the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, 111 Young Road, East Brookfield, MA 01515.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
