Lillian Cimochowski

OXFORD - Lillian M. (Daigneault) Cimochowski, 78, of Russell Lane, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, in her home with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Walter Cimochowski of Oxford who died in 1986; her brother, Arthur Daigneault, and her beloved dog, Muffin. She is survived by four children, Linda L. Walker and her husband George of Charlton, Walter R. Cimochowski and his wife Martha of Oxford, Wayne Cimochowski of Oxford, and Thomas Cardwell of Millbury; a sister, Carol A. Soucy and her husband Edmond of Arcadia, FL (formerly of Worcester); her best friend, Sara Rucci; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. She was born in Grafton, the daughter of the late Arthur and Beulah (Bussell) Daigneault, and lived in Oxford for the past 51 years. Mrs. Cimochowski was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. She enjoyed playing bingo, buying scratch tickets, and going to Foxwoods. Most precious to her were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She could light up the room when they visited her. A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, November 15, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
