Louis Cote, Jr.

SUTTON / NORTHBRIDGE - Louis “Lou” Alfred Cote, Jr. died peacefully after an illness in Cape Coral, Florida on April 5, 2016, at the age of 69.

Lou is survived by his wife Linda Ann Cote; sister Patricia LaBounty of Uxbridge; children Louis Cote III of Stoughton, Lynn Jaliett and husband Kris of Shrewsbury, Tammy Fuller and husband Michael of Salem, NH, and Stephen Nelson and wife Jennifer of Oxford; along with grandchildren Matthew, Jessica, Jamie, Adam, Heather, Nate, Zack, Tyler, Isaac, Ciera and Casey; and great grandchild Adeline Grace.

Lou was born on December 26, 1946, to Teresa (Iadarola) Savastano and Louis A. Cote in Milford. He graduated from Johnson & Wales, and proudly served in the US Army from 1965-1968. After working at General Motors for several years followed by successful real estate career, Lou and Linda moved to Cape Coral, FL, in 1999. Lou enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing, traveling and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the hospital staff at Cape Coral Hospital and Promises Hospital in Fort Myers for their care and dedication.

A memorial calling hour will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. at the conclusion of the calling hours. Burial will be private at a later date.
