SHREWSBURY – Lucille S. (Fredette) Harvey, 91, died Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Marlborough. She is survived by her daughter, Cherie A. Weinman and her husband Eliot of Shrewsbury; seven grandchildren, Alexa Weinman of San Diego, CA, Isaak Weinman of Shrewsbury, Josh Weinman of San Francisco, CA, Jennifer Sadusky of Spencer, Ashley Zborowski of Holden, Dr. Lucas Harvey of Olympia, WA, and Dustin Harvey, Esq. of Sterling, CO; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three children, Richard T. Harvey who died in 2000, Cynthia J. Harvey who died in 1984, and Roy S. Harvey who died in 2013; and many brothers and sisters. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Andrew C. and Adele (Babin) Fredette, and lived in Brookfield for 30 years before moving to Shrewsbury in 2013.
Ms. Harvey worked at Data General in Westborough for over 15 years, retiring in 1998. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, cooking, and was an avid reader. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who helped raise her grandchildren. Most important in her life was spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. A calling hour will be Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
