Ludrigo I. Sangrones

CHARLTON – Ludrigo I. Sangrones, 77, of Dresser Hill Road, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Leoncia R. (Roldan) Sangrones; four sons, Rommel R. Sangrones and his wife Rhea of Makati, Philippines, Ronnie R. Sangrones of Makati, Philippines, Randy R. Sangrones of Makati, Philippines, and Rex R. Sangrones of Charlton; and ten grandchildren.

Mr. Sangrones was born in Makati City, son of the late Federico P. and Laura I. (Ihoy) Sangrones. He graduated from Pio Del Pilar High School, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida, in 2006, before moving to Charlton in 2025.

Ludrigo worked at Walmart for 17 years, and worked in law enforcement when he was living in the Philippines. He enjoyed spending time raising chickens and was also an avid fan of horse racing. He spent much of his time playing card games like “Tong-its” with his family. His grandchildren meant everything to him, and he always loved being their “Lolo”.

A private graveside service will be held at West Ridge Cemetery in Charlton.
