Margot Ide

CHARLTON – Margot S. "Mickey" Ide, 87, of Masonic Home Road and formerly of Southbridge, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. She is survived by a daughter, Penny T. Leone and her husband Jerry of Hopedale; three grandchildren, Krista Fullum, Melissa Leone, and Justin Leone; and her close cousins, Dorie Soderman and Phyllis Erickson, both of Paxton. She was predeceased by two daughters, Karen Ide and Vicky Ide, both of Spencer; and her former husband, David M. Ide who died in 1999. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Gustav and Karen E. (Flodin) Hedlund. Mrs. Ide was a secretary at the Department of Transitional Assistance in Southbridge for 15 years, retiring in 1985. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2008, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008, from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
