Marilyn Heaton

WEBSTER – Marilyn J. (Brown) Heaton, 71, of North Main St., died Sunday, January 13, 2008, at Hubbard Regional Hospital, Webster. She is survived by her daughter, Melba Heaton and her husband Michael Provencal of Webster; a brother, Bear Brown of Florida; her granddaughter, Martha J. Heaton of Rehoboth; her former husband, R.D. Heaton of Amarillo, TX; and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary E. (Lever) Brown, and lived in Hawaii and Worcester before moving to Webster 8 years ago. She was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mrs. Heaton was a medical records clerk at Worcester City Hospital in Worcester for over 13 years, retiring in 1992. Later, she worked part-time at Salisbury Associates in Worcester for several years in the medical billing department. She loved animals and donated to many animal charities. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2008, at Hope Cemetery, Webster St., Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the A.S.P.C.A., c/o Linda Tiramani, 110 5th Ave., 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10011. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
