SUTTON – Marilyn L. (King) Manski, 80, of Boston Road, died Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.  She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, John F. Manski Jr. of Sutton, who died in 2021.  She is survived by two children, James R. King of Sutton, and Marilyn L. Allard of Sutton; three grandchildren, Max J. King, Ayla M. Allard, and Nicholas T. King; a niece, Susan; and a nephew, Dale.  She was predeceased by a sister, Sara A. Fifield; and two brothers, John R. King and Daniel H. King.  She was born in Sutton, daughter of the late John Rich and Anne E. (Sawchuk) King.

Marilyn was a nature lover.  She was born on the Rich Farm in Sutton and lived there all her life.  Her parents were popular in the community and held many outdoor gatherings where they invited friends and neighbors.  She was like Little Red Riding Hood – the woodland critters that lived in the woods were her friends.  Marilyn had a wonderful life with her husband, and they enjoyed fishing, clamming, and oystering together.  She had many friends and nice neighbors.  She was a good cook and burnt out over 5 stoves in her life.  Marilyn and her husband cooked many dishes.

A private graveside service will be held at North Cemetery in Oxford.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
