Marjorie Anderson

NORTH OXFORD – Marjorie J. (Fleming) Anderson, 80, formerly of Prospect Street, died Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Life Care Center of Auburn. She is survived by two sons, Dean Anderson and his wife Maryann of Charlton, and Paul Anderson of North Oxford; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Anderson Sr. who died in 2008; and her son, John E. Anderson Jr. who died in 2013. She was born in Grafton, daughter of the late Simeon P. and Marjorie J. (Bragg) Fleming, and lived in North Oxford for many years. She graduated from Grafton High School in Grafton.

Mrs. Anderson was a certified nurse’s aide at Providence House in Millbury for 3 years. Previously, she worked at Keith Hill Nursing Home in Grafton for 10 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to the thank Barbara Johnson, Lynnel McGee, Mike LaBonte, and the entire staff at the Life Care Center, for the exceptional care given to Marjorie.

Calling hours are Wednesday, January 24, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
