Mary Camacho

OXFORD – Mary T. (Hider) Camacho, 82, of Sutton Avenue, died Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Beaumont in Northbridge. She was predeceased by her husband of 11 years, Christino V. Camacho who died in 1972; and a sister, Beverly Pierce. She is survived by three children, Christino V. Camacho and his wife Christine of Paxton, Carol A. McLaughlin and her husband John of Oxford, and Michael J. Camacho and his wife Karol of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Lois Hider and Virginia Hider, both of Worcester; six grandchildren, Hannah McLaughlin of Arlington, VA, Emma McLaughlin of Oxford, Nicole Camacho of Brighton, Dante Camacho of Shrewsbury, Jovan Camacho of Shrewsbury, and Talia Camacho of Shrewsbury; her companion, Earl Burrows of Webster; and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Nicholas F. and Virginia (Madonna) Hider, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford over 10 years ago.

Mrs. Camacho was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Oxford. She was active at the church and attended many church events. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very social person who loved being around people.

The family would like to thank the staff at Beaumont in Northbridge and Salmon Hospice, to the exceptional care given to Mary.

Memorial calling hours are Monday, January 28, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A memorial service will be held on at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Grace Episcopal Church, 270 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 270 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
