IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary M.
Brown
December 15, 1952 – December 15, 2025
OXFORD – Mary M. (Dillingham) Brown, 73, of 201 Orchard Hill Drive, Oxford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025.
She was born in Virginia, where she completed her education and later earned her GED. After moving to Massachusetts, she worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Worcester, dedicating herself to caring for others with compassion and dignity.
Mary was a devoted mother to her loving & faithful daughter, Kathleen Watkins of Oxford, Massachusetts, and a loving grandmother to Charles Watkins and his wife Brooke Boudreau of Webster, Massachusetts, and Ely Watkins, of Worcester, Massachusetts, and loving great-grandmother to Dannyelle and Sebastian. She also leaves behind her beloved first love, Larry Goodale of Worcester, Massachusetts; and her companion Al St. Germain of Worcester, Massachusetts. Mary was predeceased by her son, Justin Brown, who passed away in 2023. Her family was the joy of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She was a faithful Christian woman who loved the Lord with all her heart. Patient and kind, she touched the lives of those around her with her gentle spirit. She found joy in reading the Bible, sewing, crafts, playing bingo, eating shrimp scampi and her favorite deserts; and she had a gift for making others feel good about themselves. Soft-spoken yet radiant, she lit up every room she entered. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and she especially adored snowmen, which brought her delight and reflected her love of simple joys.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Webster, Massachusetts, under the care of Pastor Doug Connolly.
Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
