NORTH OXFORD – Maureen T. (Wright) Bolduc, 78, formerly of Main Street, died Friday, March 11, 2022, at Notre Dame Health Care Center in Worcester, after an extended period of declining health. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John A. Bolduc Sr.; four children, John A. Bolduc Jr. and his wife Charlene of Webster, Cherie A. Sirard and her husband Paul of Charlton, Stephen R. Bolduc and his wife Angela of Sterling, and Suzanne Peregrim and her fiancé Mark Robbins of Oxford; her brother, Richard Wright of Worcester, a sister Deborah Letourneau and her husband Philip of Shrewsbury; two sisters-in-law, Wendy Wright of Marstons Mills, and Lucy Wright of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Jesse, Michael, Jeffrey, Madlyn, Delaney, Nicholas, and Alyssa; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, George Wright Jr., James Wright, and Thomas Wright. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George M. and Madlyn A. (Hughes) Wright Sr., and lived in North Oxford since 1973. She attended Commerce High School and graduated from David Hale Fanning School of Health Occupations in Worcester.
Mrs. Bolduc was a licensed practical nurse at the Family Health Center in Worcester for 10 years, retiring in 2009. She worked at several area healthcare facilities as an L.P.N. since 1978. Her family meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren. She loved family gatherings and socializing with friends and family. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church in North Oxford and enjoyed reading, cake decorating, gardening, and attending farm auctions with her husband. She was a Patriots and Red Sox fan, and had a keen interest in learning the rules of football.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
