Michael Giza

November 19, 1955 — June 30, 2018

WEBSTER – Michael S. “Skip” Giza, 62, of Kingsbury Road, died Saturday, June 30, 2018, in his home from complications of a heart condition. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sally J. (Lockwood) Giza of Webster; three children, Michael M. Giza, Stephanie M. Epnett, and Rachael M. Cristina; his parents, Stanley M. and Dorothea A. (Anton) Giza; a brother, Stanley “Bud” Giza; two sisters, Cindi Croley and Deb Giza; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Tenneha Giza who died in 2016. He was born in Worcester and graduated from Oxford High School in 1973. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War era.

Skip was a master carpenter working for the Local 107 Carpenter’s Union for many years before his retirement. He loved tinkering on his truck.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606 in memory of Tenneha and Skip. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
