WEBSTER – Michael R. LaHair, 79, of Lincoln Street, died Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Webster Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Facility in Webster.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bette A. (Paradis) LaHair of Webster; a brother, Phillip LaHair of North Grosvenordale, CT; a sister-in-law, Mary LaHair of North Grafton; and a close friend, Jeff Dixon of Oakham. He was predeceased by two brothers, Roger LaHair and Daniel LaHair.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late William E. and Olga H. (Cygielnik) LaHair, and lived in Webster since 1974. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1964 and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. LaHair was a maintenance electrician for GKN Metalworks in Worcester for 40 years prior to retirement. He was a member of Singletary Rod and Gun Club in Oxford, Hamilton Rod and Gun Club, and Bay Path Archers. He enjoyed shooting, fishing, and hunting with his friend Jeff. He also enjoyed reading historical books, especially books about World War II and the Korean War.

Services will be private. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
