Mildred Faford

WORCESTER - Mildred R. (Grandone) Faford, 90, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the Golden Living Center. Mildred's husband, Paul E. Faford, died in 1971. She is survived by three sons, Deacon Peter R. Faford and his wife Linda, Paul M. Faford and his wife Barbara, both of Charlton, and Mark W. Faford of Attleboro; one grandson, six granddaughters, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great- great-granddaughter. Mildred also leaves one sister, Lillian Collinino; a step brother, Michael Grandone and his wife Sandra of Worcester; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her son, John T. Faford, and two sisters, Jean Rocco and Eleanor D'Errico.Mildred was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Michael and Bertha (Raboin) Grandone, and was a lifelong resident of Worcester. Mildred enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, and housewife. She always had something cooking. She will be missed by her family and friends. A funeral Mass for Mildred will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, December 8, 2014, at St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph's Church Building Fund, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Extension, Charlton, MA 01507. The family would like to thank the Golden Living Center and the Asera Hospice Care for the care and comfort they provided to our mother.
