WARREN – Nancy Jane (Densmore) Chaisson, 84, of Pine Street, died peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2022, in her home surrounded by her loving family after short battle with cancer. She is survived by four children, Peggy Cardinale of Bradenton, FL, Diane Marsh of New Port Richey, FL; Janice Farnham and her husband Jeffrey of Gardner, ME, and Leroy Paro of West Warren; five grandchildren, Rachel Farnham, Gwendolyn Farnham, Brandy Ventura and her husband Julio, David Sheets, and Joshua Cardinale; and eight great-grandchildren, Skyelynn Sheets, Thomas Sheets, Joel Barnes, Julio Ventura, Colton Cardinale, Zakary Mills, Jaxon Cardinale and Daven Williams; her lifelong best friend, Natalie Sokol; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Chaisson; her grandson, Joel Paro; her son-in-law, Robert Cardinale; and three sisters, Helen Gaynor, Alice Shampney, and Ruth Nunn. She was born in Hopkinton, NH, daughter of the late Edward and Capitola (Libby) Densmore, and lived most of her life in Warren. She graduated from Hopkinton High School, Contoocook, NH in 1956.
Mrs. Chaisson was a homemaker who spent most her life caring for her home and family. She was a Girl Scout and Cadet leader when her daughters were young. She enjoyed knitting, bird watching, and had an extensive salt-and-pepper shaker collection. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
The family would also like to thank Care Central VNA and Hospice for their exceptional care during Nancy’s illness.
A private graveside service will be held at Contoocook Cemetery in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
