OXFORD – Nancy E. (LeBeau) Heath, 74, of Main Street, died Saturday, May 18, 2024, in her home peacefully, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William B. Heath of Oxford; two daughters, Tara A. Ryan and her husband Shawn Ryan of Brimfield, and Megan R. Heath and her companion Ricky Kemp of Oxford; four grandchildren, Devon Ryan, Molly Ryan, Dylan Wilson, and Sierra Ryan; a brother, William LeBeau and his wife Rosemary of Auburn; two sisters, Kathleen Checkoway and her husband Peter of Dennis, and Sharon Brunelle of Spencer; and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Armand W. and Julie R. (Godek) LeBeau, and was raised in Worcester before moving to Oxford 42 years ago. She graduated from Doherty High School in Worcester in 1969.
With her strong will and love for life, Nancy defied the odds associated with her breast and ovarian cancer, over a 30-year period. She was lucky to have the support from some of the finest physicians who made a difference in allowing her to enjoy life as long as she did. Her family is forever grateful.
Mrs. Heath was a dental assistant for Dr. Trotsky in Oxford for many years prior to retirement. She was a past member of the Oxford Woman’s Club and enjoyed volunteering her time. She took classes at the Oxford community center and had many good friends there. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, spending time outdoors, animals, especially dogs and horses, and visiting beaches in New England, commonly Ogunquit. Nancy was in love with life and radiated that love everywhere she went. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend whose family meant everything to her.
Memorial calling hours are Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
