OXFORD – Nicholas J. DiGiulio, 90, of Park Street, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
He is survived by his best friend and wingman, Wendell Barnes of Charlton; his daughter, Cynthia Capuano and her husband Michael of Oxford; two grandchildren, Matteo and Isabella; and his son, Tony DiGiulio. Also, his favorite pets; Remi, Willow, his furry sidekick and Tappioca, who was always by his side.
Mr. DiGiulio was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Anthony and Elise (Perazzo) DiGiulio. He worked at Mass 10 Truck Stop as a truck mechanic, before retiring in 1982.
During his retirement, Nicholas built and worked on his own racecars, which were raced at Thompson International Speedway. He was a very passionate NASCAR fan, always rooting for Jeff Gordon. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. He is now racing off into the sunset in his favorite El Camino.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 4-6 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cornea Research Foundation of America; 9002 N. Meridian St. Suite 212, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
