Nicholas P. Grieco, Sr.

OXFORD – Nicholas P. Grieco Sr., 81, formerly of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at RegalCare in Holyoke.

He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Lou (Bristol) Grieco. He is survived by two sons, Nicholas P. Grieco Jr. and his wife Tammy of Charlton, and John L. Grieco of Three Rivers; three grandchildren, Marissa Grieco, Keegan Grieco, and Keilynn Grieco; his former daughter-in-law, Holly Grieco; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepdaughter, BettyAnn Kelly; and several brothers and sisters.

He was born in Watertown, NY, son of the late Ralph and Dorthy (Smith) Grieco, and lived in Oxford for many years.

Mr. Grieco worked at Mercury Wire in Spencer for many years prior to retirement. Previously, he worked for Montrose CDT in Auburn for over 20 years. He enjoyed reading, collecting coins, and bowling.

A private graveside service will be held at North Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
