Nicole R. Joyce

OXFORD / NASHVILLE, TN – Nicole R. Joyce, 39, formerly of Oxford, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Nashville, TN.  She is survived by her father, Tim Joyce of Nashville, TN; her mother, Kelly Joyce of Oxford; four children, Jayden, Jorden, Montez, and Maya; six siblings, Keith Joyce, April Chevalier, Samantha Benvie, Katelyn Guillotte, D.J. Beach, and Edward Beach; her biological mother, Kimberly Joyce; her companion, Marcus Green; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and one niece.  She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived most of her life in Oxford before moving to Nashville in 2009. 

She graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton in 2004.  At Bay Path, she studied hairdressing and cosmetology and she had a lifelong love in that field. Nicole was a caregiver throughout her life.  She began as a young teen with her late uncle, Tracy Calderwood in Oxford and her career in caregiving advanced from there.  She enjoyed spending time at the beach.  Most of all, Nicole loved spending time with the people she loved most.

Memorial calling hours are Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m., at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, with an opening prayer by Nicole’s uncle Chris at 9:15 a.m.  A memorial service including eulogies and stories by her family will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.
