CHARLTON – Norma V. Rankin, 85, of Stafford Street, died Friday, February 3, 2023, in her home with her niece by her side. She is survived by her brother, James Warren Rankin of Holladay, TN; two nephews, Paul Rankin and his wife Melanie of Holladay, TN, and James Rankin and his wife Terri of Camden, TN; a niece, Donna Snow and her husband Jim of Camden, TN; her great-nephew, Cody Rankin of Camden, TN; and her good friend, Audrey Wright of Rochdale. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Dorothy (Gray) Rankin who died in 2021. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late James W. and Violet W.F. (Preece) Rankin, and lived most of her life in Charlton.
Miss Rankin owned Charlton Farm store in Charlton for several years. In addition, she worked at Cooper's Hilltop Farm as well as selling Real Estate during her life time. She was a woman who lived her faith as a Berean Christadelphian. She enjoyed gardening and loved animals. She leaves her Furever cat Boots.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Hope Cemetery on Webster Street in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608 or to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
