DUDLEY - Norman C. "Greg" Gregoire, formerly of Dudley, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Therese (Cournoyer) Gregoire; a son, Paul Gregoire and his wife Diane; three daughters, Denise Hashim and her husband Anwar, Dianne Andon and her husband Tony, and Renee Richard and her husband Drew; a sister, Elaine Picard; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Greg was predeceased by one brother, Romulus Gregoire; and four sisters, Jeanne Gregoire, Annette Gregoire, Marie Gregoire, and Natalie Martino. Greg was born in Spencer, the son of the late Athanase and Loretta (Arsenault) Gregoire, and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II while stationed in the Pacific. He retired from Otis Elevator after 39 years, and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Dudley for many years. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at St. Joseph's Church, 10 H. Putnam Road Ext., Charlton. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Webster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marist Missionary Sisters, 349 Grove St., Waltham, MA 02453-6018, or to the Overlook Masonic Hospice, P.O. Box 1000, Charlton, MA 01507. Paradis Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
