SOUTH GRAFTON – Patricia A. (Donovan) Minton, 76, of South Grafton passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after a brief illness.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband Darrell Minton who passed away in 2009. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Hall and Jonathan Filippone (son-in-law to be), of South Grafton and Shannon Fisk of Longmont, CO; a son, Michael Rubin of San Bernardino, CA; a brother, Robert Donovan and sister-in-law Barb Donovan of France; three grandchildren, Christian Rubin, Rian Fisk and Katlin Fisk and nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Minton was born in Chicago, IL daughter of the late Alfred and Erma (Verba) Donovan and was also predeceased by a brother and a sister.
Patricia was an outgoing person that enjoyed being around and meeting new people as well as reading and cooking. However, she was the happiest when she was spending time with her three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 49 Old Webster Road, Oxford. Memorial contributions in memory of Patricia may be made to Saint Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home 357 Main Street Oxford is assisting the family with arrangements.
