SOUTHBRIDGE – Patricia A. (Czap) Temple, 86, of Ellis Road, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2025, Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.
She was born on July 12, 1938, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, the cherished daughter of the late Charles and Sophia (Boyko) Czap, and lived most of her life in Marlborough before moving to Southbridge in 1983. She graduated from McKeesport High School in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, in 1956.
Patricia was a paralegal at the Law Office of Michael Norris in Marlborough for many years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of the Quinebaug Valley Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was very active in the congregation and had great faith.
She had a deep love for nature – especially flowers and hummingbirds – and found great joy in gardening and the quiet beauty of a peaceful meadow. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, collecting tins and cookbooks.
Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Paul A. Temple of Southbridge, who was the love of her life.
She is also survived by six siblings, Marcella Wood of Land O’ Lakes, FL, Anthony Czap and his wife Linda of Confluence, PA, Sally Skeels and her husband Lee of Summerfield, FL, Ronald Czap and his wife Rebecca of Wheeling, WV, Timothy Czap and his wife Sandra of McKees Rocks, PA, and Michelle Kingston of Oakdale, PA; two sisters-in-law, Elodia Czap of Charleroi, PA, and Helene Czap of Denver, CO; her granddaughter, Wendi Bernal and her husband Edgardo of Oxford; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Czap Jr. and Dennis Czap.
Patricia will be remembered first and foremost for her unwavering devotion to her beloved Paul and her deep faith in her Heavenly Father, Jehovah - whom she spoke of with love and conviction until her final breath. Patricia valued her family deeply and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her love for family, friends, and her faithful devotion to her God, Jehovah, will remain an enduring example to all her knew and loved her.
A memorial service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be scheduled soon, and details will be shared with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jehovah’s Witnesses at donate.jw.org
