Paul Boutillette

OXFORD – Paul M. Boutillette, 73, of Pratt Avenue, died Saturday, June 9, 2018, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester. He is survived by two children, Melissa M. Shepard and her husband Robert Zeien of Cutchogue, NY, and Michael P. Boutillette and his wife Vanvisa Attaset of San Francisco, CA; his sister-in-law, Patricia E. Boutillette of Charlton; his longtime companion, Muriel Banach of Worcester; and two grandchildren, Calla G. and Juniper E. Boutillette. He was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Anderson of North Oxford; and his brother, Andrew Boutillette Jr. of Charlton. He was born in Webster, son of the late Andrew A. and Ora (LaPlante) Boutillette, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1962.

Mr. Boutillette owned and operated Webster Sheet Metal with his brother since 1965, retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Oxford Fire Department for 20 years, retiring as lieutenant. He was a part-time/special police officer on the Oxford Police Department for 20 years. In addition, he worked as an E.M.T. for the fire department for 10 years and was a member of the Southern Massachusetts Police Association.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, or at cancer.org.
