Paul Mason

OXFORD – Paul M. “the Mailman” Mason, 71, of Toria Heights Road, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020, in his home after a long illness.  He is survived by family and friends in the area.  He was born in Webster, son of the late Paul E. and Alice B. (Grzyb) Mason, and lived most of his life in Oxford.  He graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster in 1966 and Nichols College in Dudley.  He proudly served with the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

Mr. Mason was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Worcester for 33 years, retiring in 2016.  He was a member of American Legion Post 58 in Oxford and was a member of the executive board.  He was a die-hard New York Yankees fan and had an incredible knowledge of baseball and Yankee’s history.

A funeral service followed by burial at St. Joseph's Garden of Peace in Webster will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 58, 227 Main St., Oxford, MA 01540.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
