CHARLTON – Paulette Breault, 71, beloved wife, nana, and mother, died peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, November 3, 2022, after a short but brave battle with cancer.

Paulette leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Arthur along with her daughters Alicia Woodbury (Kevin) of Hancock, Becky Raymond (Justin) of Charlton, and her son Jonathan Breault (Christina) of Bedford, NH.

She also leaves behind her five greatest joys, her grandchildren; Malina and Tyler Woodbury, Deven Raymond, and Kiptyn and Addyson Breault.  She is also survived by three brothers, John B. Alarie and his wife Tami of Rutland, VT, Ronald Alarie and his wife Sherry of Shrewsbury, and Tim Alarie and his wife Cheryl of Shrewsbury; and two sisters, Elaine Oliveri of Charlton, and Patricia Sweet of Shrewsbury.  She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Alarie and a sister Mary Frances Capalbo.

Paulette grew up in Shrewsbury where she graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1969. In 1972, she married the love of her life, Arthur. They moved to Charlton and lived there for 45 years where they raised their three children. They created a lifetime of memories that will forever be held close to Arthur’s heart. One of their last memories was celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in Bora Bora. Paulette’s last employment was at Shrewsbury Credit Union where she retired in 2012 so she could help raise her grandson Deven.

Paulette enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially on holidays. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed many wonderful vacations, and loved to help anyone and everyone. One of her recent adventures was working at the Charlton Heritage School cafeteria where she was known by so many as Nana Banana and she snuck a lot of the kids extra snacks. She was the Treasurer of the Charlton Little League, a member of the Sturbridge Lioness and Charlton Recreation Committee.
