OXFORD – Pauline Collette (Rivard) Clouthier, 104, of Sutton Avenue, died Sunday, July 5, 2026, in her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell D. Clouthier who died in 1973. She is survived by two children, Robert Clouthier and his wife Carol of Oxford, and Janice Pierpont and her husband Richard of Uxbridge; six grandsons: Brian Clouthier of Beverly, Christopher Clouthier, Robert Pierpont of Uxbridge, William Pierpont of NJ, James Pierpont of TX, and Thomas Pierpont of NH; seven great-grandchildren: Benjamin, John and Ava Clouthier, and Anyssa, Brianna, Tyler and Brody Pierpont. Also, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Clouthier who died in 2022; her sister, Jeannette DuRoss; and an infant daughter.
Pauline was born in Auburn, daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Ducharme) Rivard and lived most of her life in Oxford. She graduated from Holy Name of Jesus Elementary School (k – 8) and Worcester Girls Trade School.
Mrs. Clouthier excelled as a quality control inspector: She worked at MKM Knitting Mills in Rochdale for 20 years until they closed in 1966, and then went on to American Bank Stationery for 20 years until they closed in 1986. From there she went to Woodbury and Company in the 1990’s, from where she retired.
Pauline was a member of St. Roch’s Church in Oxford. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and made many beautiful items for her friends, family, co-workers and women at Visitation House. She was also an excellent baker.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St, Oxford. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4–7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Kilinskas Scholarship Fund at St. Roch’s Church, 334 Main St, Oxford, MA 01540.
