WEBSTER – Phyllis M. (Belisle) Carlson, 89, of Sutton Road, died on Monday, May 18, 2026, at her home.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald C. Carlson who died in 2020. She is survived by three children, Melissa R. Voas and her husband Peter of Webster; Stephen C. Carlson of Dudley, and Rachel A. Carlson and her partner Steve Benoit of North Attleboro; five grandchildren, Jason Voas and his wife Jennifer, Nicole Schutter and her husband Levi, Jamal Carlson and his partner Bradie Schofield, Naomi Carlson, and Haleigh Carlson; five great-grandchildren, Aurora Voas, Harrison Voas, Wyatt Schutter, Julia Schutter, and Kali Carlson; a niece and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine VanHooten.
She was born in Northbridge, daughter of the late Walter and Bernadette (Morin) Belisle, was raised in East Douglas, and lived in Webster since 1972. She was a U.S. Army veteran from 1956-1959, serving as a member of the Woman’s Army Corp and as a secretary for Army Intelligence.
Mrs. Carlson was a claims representative in the insurance industry. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster, and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne’s. She enjoyed baking, sewing, reading, quilting, knitting, and travelling with her husband Jerry.
The family would like to thank Pam Lloyd and Brookhaven Hospice for their exceptional care during her illness.
A private graveside service will be held at North Cemetery in Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 1350 Broadway, Ste 1530, New York, NY 10018.
Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
