DUDLEY - Princess M. Silcott, 78, of Henry Marsh Road, died Monday, November 4, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, after a short illness. She is survived by three children, Allinton G. Silcott of Dudley, Joann Jones of Greensboro, NC, and Clifton Silcott of St. Johns, Antigua; four sisters; two brothers; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was born in St. John's, Antigua, the daughter of the late Joseph and Louisa (Nedd) Silcott, and lived most of her life in the Virgin Islands before moving to Dudley in 2010. Ms. Silcott was a social worker for the Government of the Virgin Islands for 42 years, retiring in 1998. She attended Worcester County Church of Christ. While living in the Virgin Islands, she was a member of the choir at the Christ Church Methodist Church. Calling hours are Thursday, November 7, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Memorial services will be held in North Carolina and the Virgin Islands. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
